Archon, a subsidiary of Prodos is running another KS:

For the last five days it was not known that LOAD! was a product made by a subsidiary of Prodos, they only announced it today.

The question I want to ask, would you as an AVP backer advise others to back a KS made by a subsidiary of Prodos?

The reason I ask is because other companies messed up their initial KS (like CMON with Relic Knight), but got their act together and people now trust them to run a succesful KS project. Has Prodos achieved that yet with AVP?

Archon, for all intents and purposes IS Prodos.  It is completely owned by Prodos, run by the same people and so on.   I suspect it is a legal mechanism to protect their manufacturing assets.  Of course, now instead of just being the manufacturing wing they are making the LOAD game and running the KS. 

I encourage EVERYONE to pledge for LOAD and pledge BIG*.   Pledge about $50 more than your desired pledge level costs.   That way Prodos can use the extra funds to send me and others our AvP stuff.

Correct. That wasn't without it's problems either, but they delivered in the end. That said, Relic Knight was CMoN's third KS and it was a mess. These days I spent a lot of money on CMoN ks projects, but after the RK debacle I skipped a couple of their ks projects and only started again with backing them after their RK issues were resolved. It looks like the AVP issues haven't been resolved yet...

So, the question is: what about my Female Predator (its already approved) and 2 missing Huggers? I should have gotten those. The only Wave 3 thing in my pledge are the Heads plus extra bits pack and the objective markers.

Absolutely contact them.    They promised to ship what was approved.  Attempt to get them to keep their promise.  Don't cut them any slack.

Wrote them yesterday, had an answer this morning at 10:13.

"those will be shipped with the last batch and wave 3 items"

I got my answer right away.

I suspect the current/ongoing KS provides motivation for Prodos to be more communicative in order to lessen the negativity.   Mantic seems to increase communication/address issues on past KS projects while they have a new one going on.

always had answers within a 24h turn-around time so far. Contacted them three times for different reasons, always got polite answers. But then, I did talk to others then the higher echolons.
