I'm surprised at the lack of visual references there are for the Hawkmoon stories on the web. Plenty of Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings fan art etc but very little for Hawkmoon.

That's because of the movies and the TV series. Hawkmoon is like "ancient history" to these young'uns!  ;)

And back when the books were written there was no web to post your art on.  :(

Greetings all,
I took a bit of time out from sculpting to do some painting.

I wanted to see how the Vultures looked in a formed unit. I had a packet of GW Lord of the Rings movement tray thingy's sitting around so I thought I'd put them to use.

Not the best pics because I had to use my phone when my camera broke!

Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

This is a very interesting range so far, makes me interested in picking some up. Wouldn't these fit as chaos warriors as well?

Well crafted, good detail work and some genuinely extraordinary concept ideas. The range of painted test models look very good indeed. I am also pleased to read that they will be sold for a reasonable price, especially given the high general quality of sculpting and richness of detail!

What ever happened to this range? It was going great guns and now seems to have fizzled out. They don't seem to be available from Eureka yet although they did make appearances at some shows.

I was really looking forward to a vast range.

The sculptor is on a "Napoleonic Sabbatical" per...http://this28mmlife.blogspot.com.au/

I guess he got bored/tired/burned out?

Well that's a great pity. This range sparked my interest in the Runestaff books and Moorcocks work as a whole. Maybe the range will emerge somewhere in the future.

So you've got figures other than the Vulture Legion and Count Brass?
