Dedicated wargaming table
« on: January 30, 2014, 07:43:06 AM »
Good morning
In this thread I will post Pictures of my new wargaming table which I will start to build this coming weekend.
It will be build especially for my TSS tiles scenery.
The tabletop will accommodate 7x4 TSS tiles ( the ones that measure roughly 30x30 cm)
Under the tabletop will be space for my scenery tiles buildings woods etc when not in use .
So watch this space for pictures later at the weekend.
In hoc signo vinces

Agreed, my building is now pretty much done and I've built the first of the two tables. I'll document the other one as I build it.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Here are the first Pictures.
The first two pictures show the bottom of the first container the tabletop will rest on. The container is 100x100 cm square and 85 cm high. I will build a second identical one to bring the table to the right dimensions.

The bottom from the other side on the trianels in the corners the wheels will be fitted

The next pictures show the sides of the container

Thats how far I got this afternoon more tomorrow

That base looks very similar to mine, great minds think alike  :D
I'd better show mine before I get accused of theft  ;)

Here are the pictures I promised a bit late sorry.
The open sides will get doors later and the tabletop isn`t fixed jet Didn`t have enough screws

I put wheels under the table to be able to move it around more easily
Will continue work on the table next weekend so be patient

Pretty good Tom. I do quite like the old TSS tile system.
I'm sure you'll have many happy hours wargaming on there - well done  :)
