Its now at $55.  :o

Note it seems there are some differences between what came with the one I got and the one currently on ebay.
shorter side walls
no box temple thing for the gold wall
the colonnade only has a front, mine has a front and two sides
more statuary

Here is mine;

There is a UK version and a US version from what I have read, though which is which I do not know.

Type in your search EBayUS....or EBayUK....EBayAustralia ..you should go direct to that particular EBay or you will have an option to look at the 'world wide' listings.  ;)

I meant a UK and US version of the playset, not sure which version is on eBay and which is Amalric's.

Glad I decided early on NOT to pursue Ægyptiana!!

I do keep finding interesting, though personally less useful, stuff though:

From http://www.museumstorecompany.com/Shop-Bargains-On-Sale-Clearance-Deals-Discounts-Sales-Specials/Egyptian-Obelisk-Paperweight-Gift-p7226.html

Many different, unusual, & expensive, bits n'bobs abound...

Other periods & places too!!

Great thread!

The important question is: Would you consider indenturing Thing 1 and 2 to me for a period of a few years to complete some of my projects lingering around?

Nope.
Unfortunately they've gone on strike, claiming some sort of summer vacation exception.
Also, if they were painting right now, don't you think I would point them towards my own mountain of lead?

Once summer camps are over and the dice start rolling again, I'll get them painting again and bwahahahahahahahaa!

Clearly you need to take a meeting with the Chancellor of the Exchequer to consider increasing the funds available for bribery, uh, DIPLOMATIC dispensation...

Baksheesh may well be as distasteful as it is necessary.

A concept I am all to familiar with them.
I wish it would work the other way around once in awhile.
