And three more done. This time three pvc drones from the 'Be a better Human' board game kickstarter. They are pvc, so the details are of course a bit on the soft side. And the plastic always tends to bend a bit. But they were very cool to paint, really nice sculpts and designs in general. I added some Mechwarrior decals to them for extra flavour. They should make nice corpo drones for my games, their micro guns will tear those mercs apart!

Those look fantastic -- I don't see the bendy parts or soft detail at all. And love that dark red color...

Lovely drones! Red's a good colour for killbots-doesn't show the blood as much!  lol

Cheers lads!
Here's another update, kind of. It's scenery I painted for Deadzone (my favourite game!) and Mars Attacks, but it's also perfect for Cyberpunk games with the weathered bricks, graffiti and ads all over the place. The scenery is the blocky HIPS scenery Mantic did for Mars Attacks. It follows the same system as Deadzone: a 3"x3"x3" cube system. So all scenery is kind of cubical. Some don't like the look, but I am a fan. I like how "standard" and uninspired they look, like cheap buildings plunked down for business or cheap homes. And that fits very well with Cyberpunk IMO.

This was also my first attempt in doing cement between bricks...and it actually was quite easy! After drybrushing the walls I simply used a brush loaded with wall filler to smear in the cracks. Then I used some toilet paper to wipe off the excess. Interetingly you also wipe off some of the drybrushed paint, but that just adds to the weathered look. All in all this was very easy to do and I think it really adds to the look.

Fantastic painting and a lovely table. I haven't tried the wall filler method yet - either for brick or stone mortar, but you nailed it.

Those buildings look fantastic, especially the brickwork.

Wow you nailed that.

Thanks for the inspiration, I've got some of scenery, so will need to give that a go.

Any particular filler used?

Not really, just a bucket with 1 liter of pre-mixed filler. So no hassling with water or anything. Just smearing it on, straight from the bucket! Adding some water does help with getting it a bit easier into the grooves.

Most excellent, the cement in between the bricks looks really convincing, the concrete building too. Great looking little set up Michi.

Agreed, that filler is right pretty!

In a grungy, dystopian way.

Awesome work again!  8)

The abundance of grafitti is what really makes them shine IMHO; this immediately conveys the atmosphere of grungy back alleys.

And Milfguard? Someone has been watching the Witcher and been secretly giggling everytime someone mentioned Nilfguard...  lol
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

You're warm! It's from Cyberpunk 2077, which was also made by CD Projekt Red ;)
