Ladies and gentlemen, the Season 8 of The Lead Painters League is finally over. I would like to thank to all the participants, for their hard work, tenacity and motivation. Well done, all of you! It’s been a great season again; we’ve seen some very hard fights on a very high skill level. Though you know, skills alone are not enough. If you enter LPL, you enter a marathon and sometimes it’s very hard to push oneself to keep running. Being myself a participant I really know the feeling of endless weariness that overcomes you at some point, mostly somewhere between the Round 7 and 10
And now we come to the winners.
On the top of the table, in first place, the invincible
Frank! In a very close final match he defeated his opponent, secured his part of the Hejaz Railway and ensured his supremacy in this season, losing only one match and providing lots of mind-blowing scenes, full of brilliant ideas and inspiration to us all. Bravo, Frank!

In second place – the ingenious
Captain Blood! The fantastic precision of his vivid painting is legendary in the meantime and also this time he was able to prove again his skill and took the second place with minimal point difference in the final match-up. Top notch, Richard!

In third place – the tremendous
Tsar1701! Being another old hand and master of LPL and covering all sorts of adventurous gaming he brought this year some beautifully painted entries and did manage to take a final sprint and to get the third place. Well done, Chris!

Now congratulations to all of you who took part in LPL8. With all you passion and hard work you made it possible again to create that wonderful event and give this amazing show to our members. I salute you!
And now the Season 8 is officially closed. See you all next year!
Thank you.
