A little town to play
« on: July 30, 2008, 09:36:27 PM »
Hi,

I just begann a new project (to show it  at Crisis (but 2009 I think...)) and Toutatis. I think to make a some building to represent a little town in the 1920s. I think to use only copplestone miniatures.

All the building are cute and sculpt in "depron" (a kind of polystyrene). It is really easy to make !!!

The buildings are superb. I have not heard of depron before. Is it similar to foamboard?

I don't know but the table must be around 120cm X 100cm. So I think around 7 or 8... o_o

If only I wasn't so clumsy...
Having to do architectual work is just capital punishment for me. But the buildings certainly look stunning. Very nice job!

Those are amazing buildings! When you get done with yours, I'll take 4 for myself, please.  lol

Really great work. I can't wait to see the whole town finished and painted.

Where do you get depron from?

I don't know where you leave but in France, we can find this "depron" in all the DIY store. It is , in fact, a insulation material.

Thank you very much everybody!!! You give me some courage to continue!! o_o

Dear Grimm, at the beginning of this project the first action I did, was to go on your hangar's website to inspire me ;)
I hope, one day, to make a hangar too !

With pleasure I will meet you of course to talk about our hoby! I really don't think that this project will be finished at Crisis 2008 but, of course, I will come ! (some of my friends prepare a great war project so I will accompany them)
