@aliensurfer the Confrontation figures are brilliant. They bridge the years between 40k Rogue Trader and Necromunda, and (I think) take some of the best characteristics of each. On one hand, it's a shame that the game never got a proper release, but on the other hand, the range of miniatures is surprisingly big, and the game itself is the predecessor to Necromunda.

Indeed, I can only recall the brat figures from confrontation and irrc a tech gang. I recall the rules in WD.

Yup, 100% agreed. It was very much Necromunda 1st edition, set on Necromunda and heavily influenced Necromunda '95 and the latest incarnation.

I think it's why we have seen a return of that era style stat line and also some very definite nods to that era too.

I think that squat pirates on powerboards might just be the most Rogue Trader-y thing that you can make :D

Used these at the weekend in a fun game at the Lead & Steel Oldhammer event in Sheffield. More words and pics over at my blog.

Couldn't agree more  :D

They're looking particularly daring and careless on hoverboards I must say, especially mini-Lemmy in his leathers. But they obviously both rock ;)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Thanks folks! I love that silliness that RT had in spades, along with that equal measure of creepy oddness!

Dashing and careless seems perfect for powerboarders  8)

They're old Citadel too - 2000AD sky surfers, but also sold as Rogue Trader powerboards.
