Many thanks for the replies chaps  :)

I am sure you will work some leftover papada into the scenery to.

Nope, no idea what that is  lol

Apologies for crediting you with an additional three inches James.  :) As they say in the classics, size isn't all that matters.

Not a problem  ;)

Lovely stuff as always James, bought my first ever pack of foam board the other day gonna have to pick your brains at BLAM.

If you're coming to Salute you can do it then  :)

I'm unfortunately working today and tomorrow but I'll try and get some more harbour work done in the evenings.

cheers

James

Mate, they're brilliant! The simple colours, the subtle weathering, the angles the buildings sit at......perfect! :-*

Thanks again fellas  :)

So this will be at Salute?

Yup, table GG11  :)

Started work in a couple more town houses for the cliff top above the harbour.

The brick one is inspired by an actual one on Poole High St. And thanks to 3 fingers for the idea to go have a look  :)

cheers

You know, I reckon there's a quid to be made, selling those perspex forms to people who want to detail/superdetail them. Knights of Dice has done something similar in MDF with their Tabula Rasa line. Building shapes, that are a pain to mass produce but can be readily dollied up by folk with the time and inclination. Dunno how cost effective it would be cutting perspex but I suspect there's a gap in the market. Cheaper than a resin building and potentially a better medium to work with than MDF.

Yup, table GG11  :)

Be there, or be a regular quadrilateral polygon!

... and possibly be included as terrain to match these houses.  ;D

Finished the two houses today apart from a few window frames that'll get cut later this week.

I have thought about it but acrylic is harder to work than MDF unfortunately and holding stock for it would be difficult for me at the moment.

Thanks again chaps  :)

I know a lot of people would baulk at the price but I think it's quite reasonable  :)

Taken the day off today as I had to work all night Tuesday through to Wednesday lunchtime and I'm fucked  :(

I have however started carving the cliffs...

And here are some actual pictures of the cliffs in question (stolen by Mark from the www)

The bottom one is my main reference the only worry is getting the colours right  :(

cheers

James

This is ruddy brilliant, Jim! When it comes to cliffs I find it quite difficult to transfers what I have in my minds eye to the blue foam.
