That looks good mate! I was worried your newer houses looked too modern, but seeing it with all the trimmings and in the board, I REALLY should have known better!! ::)

Thanks chaps  :)

Just a flat surface, I'd spend too much time trying to get it right and Salute is only round the corner  :D

cheers

James

Thats sad. The whole board is made with so much effort I m concerned a flat painted surface could pull down the overall look. Theres is really easy fast method to make Watertexture that would not consume to much time. I´ve made this on my Götterdämmerung Promotable, maybe its a help for you.

Its pure Sanitary Acrylic used for jointing in Bathroom etc. The cheap white stuff poured on in single lines and quickly pushed in waveshape with wet fingers. I weared Rubbergloves to avoid fingerprints. After a night drytime you can paint it like the pure flat surface. The Wavetops are just dipped with pure white Paint mixed up with Filler and Baking Soda. Thats quick and easy to make and brings the whole table way more ambient imo.

That's a great table  8)

I might look at it after Salute but the buyer is quite happy with it being flat. It also helps to keep boat bottoms flat  :)

cheers

I think it's appropriate for it to be flat in harbour, or MAYBE a very very slight rolling - no more than 1mm in height differences anywhere.

A compromise might be a tiny bit of wave lapping (very little) where the water meets the quay wall.

Just make sure there's some green scum at the waterline on the quay wall!

Ah I understand its a commission work! Then its absolutly reasonable to keep the wishes and needings of the customer in focus! I´m really curious to see it finished!

What you mean with a stonker in this Case? It was not my intention to insult someone here with this quoted posting or tried to push my stuff in here if this is the direction you mean it. The picture was the only one on my hands to show the watereffect I´ve mentioned before.
