Actually (and I hate to do this), that's not the final coat. It was just splodged on and is waiting to be sanded for a coat of fine sand...

Never mind eh  ;)

cheers

James

Actually, I wasn't sure whether it was intentional genius or just accidental spatula marks...  lol

How about unintentional genius  ;)

are lidl selling paint spray machines?

£49.99 for a compressor, air line and very simple airbrush (with cheap paints). The compressor certainly does the job and the airbrush is good for priming but for any detailed work a better airbrush with more control would be needed.

They don't carry them in stock all the time, just on occasion.

Looking good James! It will be a joy to play on. How will you be covering the tower shaped hole for the game?

I have a rock for you as well  >:D >:D

Oh no, our 'relationship' is on the rocks. Hahahahahahaha. lol lol. I may have to 'gravel' before you, to repair it ;)

Cheers
Matt.

ta... :)

Don't use the paint that comes with it Giles, it's shit and has little bits in that clog up the nozzle  :-[

How will you be covering the tower shaped hole for the game?

I shall ignore the shit jokes  ;D ;)

The hole isn't a hole anymore, it's just a flat surface on which to place whatever as having a hole, everything that could go on the top would have to have the same size base  :?

See below  :)

Weathering, little rock piles (debris from the cliffs), sand, water and growies to be done... Maybe by close of play today  :)

cheers

James

Thanks chaps  ;)

Just googled that chapel and it looks decidedly odd  o_o

Not a bad little project, leaving off the ridiculous buttresses though  :?

Steve, question for you. Castles had plastered walls, what about smaller churches and chapels?

cheers

They were commonly plastered inside and out, even small ones, especially from the early thirteenth century onwards. This was normally whitewashed in the case of exterior walls.
