Oooooh James, that's a looker!  :-*  :-* even the seams are seamless - it doesn't 'look' modular.

Come now, Dr, fill us in on the game.

Cheers

Okay, here are a few more pics of the game in action... I didn't play it myself, so can only surmise what was going on, but...

The proud father with his new terrain baby...

Dragoons patrol the clifftops, ever-vigilant for ne'er-do-wells...

Behold. A small church atop a rocky hill... Perhaps the Vicar of Altarnun presides here...

In the graveyard, strange forces are gathering...

Whilst redcoated soldiery question the locals...

And patrol the sunken lanes...

But what can this fissure be, within the rocky cleft... ?

I love the fact that whilst searching the churchyard, this group...

Evidently do not notice what's going on just behind and below them...  lol

Meanwhile, beneath the church, something untoward is stirring in the crypt...

And finally, how it always ends... 'The pursuit of justice' - it's like an illustrated frontispiece by Hogarth to a treatise by Henry Fielding, JP.

Looks amazing.  :D

I can't believe you've used the gladiator thumbs though Jim? I didn't realise they were multi-period.

Did you end up using the airbrush on those cliff faces?

Wow, many thanks for kind replies gents  :)

How did the play go?
Had too leave before we could get a shot, maybe next year?

It played quite well, intrigue abounded  :)

I'd be happy to bring it next year but it'll be Nicks by then so you better ask him  ;)

But can you tell us at least what happened?!?!?!?  ???

Smugglers and stuff  ;)

I shall persuade the good doctor to come along and brief all who are interested  :)

I also second Colin, any chance if a game next year?

See above  ;)

That was a great game in no little thanks to that bag of wine they call Ann Kearsaway!

I think you mean the b***h Ann Kersaway  >:D lol

but theres nowt worse that a fissure in your cleft :o

Dirty bugger  lol

Just to prove I wasn't the only person painting just before their game!! ;)....

Mine was a repair though  ;D

It is also nice to put a face to the name.

Well, a silly face with a daft hat  lol

Yes, yes. Now I'm tidied away it's sitting right in front of me  :)

I can't believe you've used the gladiator thumbs though Jim? I didn't realise they were multi-period.

Did you end up using the airbrush on those cliff faces?

That they be matey  ;)

Yes, airbrush for the cliffs and so glad I did, it would've been a nightmare otherwise. I should've bought one years ago  ::)

Thanks again chaps  :)

cheers

James

Looks amazing!

I like the way you had to hunch down low to fit in the same photo with all the hapless normal-sized folk. Our Jim is a veritable Dunedain among hobbits.  lol
