Apparently the original customs house was burnt down and rebuilt in replica in 1813. The stairs were apparently based on the Guildhall. So says the English Heritage listing. The railings might not be original then.

Many thanks for the replies chaps  :) :)

He's not getting them anyway  lol

Interesting though, I wonder how different it is in total then.

More buildings to follow soon  :)

cheers

James

Woo! Looking good Bibbles. The size seems rather good, substantial but with a tight floor plan. Ace work matey. 8) 8) 8)

Cheers

Cheers fellas  :)

Carrying on with some town houses even though I keep getting pestered to make the village first  lol

These two are joined together permanently and I'll be making several others like it in twos and threes. I'll also be making some angled buildings to fit in between so the streets aren't in a grid pattern.

Obviously still the roofs to paint, chimneys to add along with doors/windows etc.

There'll be cobbled pavements along with a few other 'key' buildings that have yet to be finalised  :)

cheers

James

Brilliant Jim!!  :-*

This is exactly what I'm trying to do for my own 18th century horror stuff - albeit with much less skill and flare!!
