I haven't caught this thread before and didn't spend enough time looking at the setup at the when the game was played for BLAM. But now ...

I have to say that Jim had got the Swanage coastline perfect and the Poole Customs House is spot on (it's now a bar and a year doesn't go by without me sitting outside it having the drink or three).

I'm also starting my own force for this game - look out soon for the Royal Navy ...

Work has started on this again with the beginnings of the village blacksmith  :)

Blue foam all the way including a forge from... You guessed it... Individual bricks  :D

The foam will constitute the roof and there will be a dormer in it, it's gonna be fun working that one out...

There will also be a wooden structure covering the forge area, but that'll be balsa and not blue foam  lol

cheers

James

Im surprised James isnt paying all you brits to cut blue bricks. Is that the entry fee for BLAM?  ;D

Its going to be fantastic! Im looking forward to the balsa section, and how it works with the bricks. It should be an interesting texture to paint :D

Cheers
Matt

I am really beginning to suspect that this is all to do with your lack of lego sets as a kid.
You really wanted those likkal shiny bricks, didn't you?

Don't worry Rui, I'll count these ones for you  ;)

Good start mate! :-*

I don't understand the foam roof though! Are you planning a brick or stone roof?
