Cracking! Damaged = cheap :D

I got a little excited with my sheet, the large red and white ones are way too big - unless i did a gotha bomber (dont even mention it! ) - and Probably a few too many small ones. They are that small, they are a little impractical for sleeve badges. Feel free to use the "Miss Hydra" decals in* your V2 :D

I find the WotC SW figures are a little the same. Some details are quite nice (padding on suit etc) then other details are filled in or non existent. But for $.70AUD a figure that aint too bad!

*Or ON!  ;D

Cheers
Matt

How do the Heroclix figures scale up against SOTR and other 28mm figs?

Most but not all are 32mm.

Decals way too big, you say?  ;D I don't have a Gotha bomber, but I've got this huge baby:

It will be used as an Hydra secret weapon  ;)

It depends. Like kidterminal said, some of them are bigger than the usual SOTR figures, but hey...they are superheroes, monsters, etc. ;D

I didn't take any picture of the Snark...because I spent this Wednesday working on new figures!

First of all, I'm making a Nazi necromancer/witch. I think it's an old MageKnight figure that I just popped out of its base. And I made a new one, with runes, because all my mystic Nazis will have them  lol

I made it, using a nice Runic Rolling Pin from Greenstuffworld

Then I started working on yet another German supersoldier! "They saved Hitler's Brain! Sort of...!" Ok, they created an Über-soldaten body, pumped full of chemicals and with a positronic brain where the Nazi scientists hope to upload the conscience of Hitler once he finally slips out of his coma and dies.

And then I tried to do a Summoner from the Nazi Zombie Army game:

I started with a zombie german from Studio Miniatures and my plan was to put some bandages on his head. It ended being a guy that looks like it has been hit in the head with a towel...in a windy day. My green stuff skills are still lacking  :'(

Another conversion, far easier to make - I cut a head from a Vampire Archer from MageKnight (it has a nice "Nosferatu" look) and after removing the head from the Nazi Zombie officer from Studio Miniatures, I did this:

And in other news:

Blazing Skull has its new base:

My Kastelan Robots are almost ready to be used by the US Army (decals and basing needed, they are going to be named Moe and Larry. Curly is a surprise ;))

And Dreamforge weapons and heads work with Bolt Action figures...with a little effort and some cutting and sanding:

And to finish, all the figures that I consider done. I'm just waiting on the varnish to dry:

And here's my "Die Frau in rot", the Runic Priestess of the Third Reich  lol

I also added decals (from Rubicon's Sherman) to my Kastelan Robots:

After that, they took a bath in my "Future" equivalent and when it dries, I'll do some light weathering on them.

Flaming Skull had its base painted. I've tried to some scorched earth behind him but it doesn't really show on the photos:

They are looking nice. The decals add a lot to the robots.

And it gave me the opportunity to use a new product - Decalfix by Humbrol. I usually use Microsol and Microset, but  this is an one bottle solution and way simpler.
