I finished the first board! Hooray!
Found a spray that doesn't dissolve foam that much:

So I was definitely going in this direction:

For the second level, I had to start the process all over again. Measure, cut, carve...

Stairs, I love stairs :?

After various (and very colourful) insults and swearings, I got that:

Which eventually turned into this, when some more paint & glue work was done:

So this is it, ready to be inhabited!

You can find a few more pics of the process here:
http://oldschoolworkshop.blogspot.com.es/2014/12/besenval-port-stage-2-first-board.html?m=0

I won't start the second board immediately, as I have to take care of several different projects (and my sanity and will need to be restored!), but I'll let you know when it starts again...

What someone who has the know how needs to do is make a 3D printer file to make a press you can push down on the foam to make the brick pattern. If you make it right, it might even work on foamcore.
Looking for a set of rules that adaptable for different genres.

I'm totally nuts, can't believe I forgot posting my stuff (d'oh)

Some time ago I got some stuff from Sarissa Precision. I'm making some slow process (lot of stuff!), but I can show you these two bridges.

Not future aspect at all, but what the hell, I liked it enough, don't need anything else:

How could I resist this? ::)

This is how they look on my ongoing board:

http://oldschoolworkshop.blogspot.com.es/2015/01/building-bridges-for-new-year.html?m=0

Apart from that, I also got a few industrial walkaways from Bandua Wargames. Again, MDF stuff. I used the same technique and got this:

This is supposed to be 'designed for Infinity'. Meh, I can use that as well :D

Whenever I get to build some more proper buildings using foamboard I guess I'll use that as a walkaway between them, that kind of stuff.
Here you have it all on the blog:

New goodies! If I'm doing a harbor, I need harbor stuff. That's why I included this canal barge by Sarissa Precision.

Following my traditions, I thought of making the interior detailed, but this time it really made no sense, you cannot attach a single mini inside of the cabin :(

Of course the kit is designed to look Victorian, so I had to add some stuff to warhammerize it a little. Not too much, just small bits here and there:

So it finally looked like this:

I used the Kev Adams mini as the captain. The coat and the wool hat drove me that way ;)

So he's the man for the ship!

I should have a look for an industrial crane, it's just the stuff the port is missing. For the moment I've just seen the gorgeous Ichabod by Fenris Games, but I fear it may be too big for my humble board. Do you happen to know of any other kit suitable for my purposes?

A barge with purity seals!! You gotta love it!! lol lol lol

Should it not be driven by cherubs and have a few more skulls over it? ;)

I avoided the use of skulls on purpose, but the cherub idea is actually pretty cool! I believe I have some stuff I can use for this, consider it done... ::)
