Depressing.
Erratic.
Fatuous.

Spread the word. The D.E.F. Warriors are here.

I'm going to use these guys for Pulp Alley, or supers, or any sci-fi skirmish. Or scenery too!
From left to right:
'armless
Fender (the boss)
Face
Toaster

These were bought 2nd hand, with some limbs removed or replaced. I decided to use them as a 28mm set of characters, inspired by Face's left eye (!).

Fender - smallest of the pulpbots in size, makes up for this in sheer determination and (at times) thick headedness. Likes powerful weapons.
Face - the mystic, and the link to the team's 'masters', and thus occasionally taken to be the leader; not big on guns but good at providing otherworldly back-up to the team.
Toaster - Fender's best mate, nicknamed for his character when employed as a heart-throb filmdroid, finished in bright chrome - and his propensity for high energy or flame weapons. A ladies' bot.
'armless - Hopelessly dim and depressive, lost his arms in battle, never replaced as he is hopelessly obsolete. Lives in the hope of meeting the Director of BMechW (Best Mech Warriors) to ask him for a pair of arms from the company museum.

Thanks guys.
Spot of trouble, though; I now feel like I can't do without a large robot with huge paws; or a kill-dozer; or a seventh member of the band...
