I picked up the whole lot Andy! Resistance was utterly futile... not that I offered myself any restraint!

In the flesh they look even better and a packed with animation and aggression- just superb!!

I'm going to be painting up the first regiment this week (along with some HYw archer conversions of course!).

Darrell.

Looking forward to seeing those! I have 3 units of Mutineer minis mutineers on the painting table ready to go - once they are done, I'm ordering a unit of Iron Duke Madras Fusiliers and a unit of their Sikhs... Just to keep the painting queue manageable, you understand... ;)

It burns inside me to just cave and start binge-ordering off Empress...but I shall hold out until the officer pack is out at least.

Brave words, Sir. But I'll wager that mere words they shall remain.

I painted this chap up to understand the colours I'd require and give me an idea how quickly and easily they paint up. There's a lot of white, so I've tried to do the haversack and shirt with a different base shade to break the white up a bit.
I understand that I can do the trousers a very dark grey with a red stripe which should also give me a break from painting white. Anyway I'm open to suggestions.

He looks great Jeff - be warned, I'll be putting in an order for some (OK, a lot of) Sikhs at Triples very soon.

You've seen the latest info on uniforms on the ID website, I guess, where there's a whole section in the different options for trousers?

That's a mighty fine paint job! :-* :-*

You can also paint the shirts grey, as that was a common colour for the undershirt, I believe, although I wouldn't go too dark. You could also paint the trousers dark blue with a red stripe for home service kit, or even varying shades of khaki.

However, I like the white. Looks really good!
