Hi I wasn't that speedy, I painted them over a 2 week period, an hour here, an hour there.

I'm going to file some and get them prepped tomorrow morning- really looking forward to it as they are just so lovely.

I've just sent an email to Warbases asking for the same bases that Mike has on his Iron Duke website so I can use them in skirmish actions and as regimental battles.

I'm wondering if the arms are separate on a couple of those poses. Otherwise, I can't see how Paul and IDM could cast them.

On closer inspection I think you may well be correct.

If you're looking for scenario inspiration, check out the FIBIS wiki, which has accounts of almost every Mutiny-period skirmish and 'battle' with links to both secondary accounts and the original Gazette reports on the actions - it's an incredible resource.

Here are the completed standard bearers, along with a glimpse of the Indian drivers for the carts and the horse artillery team :

Thanks for posting these up Arthur!  8)

They are all the usual lovely posed dynamic and aggressive poses that we are rapidly coming to expect from Iron Duke Miniatures.

I think that the Horse Artillery 'at the gallop' are going to really be something else if the quality of the horses on display are anything to go by.

Those Indian drivers look real nice and give a taste of the mutineers to come. Mr Hicks is one of the few sculptors in this scale who can produce natural looking turbans that really look like folded cloth.
