Nice additions.
I really like that AT-ST and the console looks great to me.

That statue has come out really well.
The subtle weathering effect suits it very well.
 :-*

Quick question: Can the AT-ST be bought separately?

Though I am surprised The Magnificent Emperor, may he crush all who oppose him, signed off on a monument... so small, it hardly captures his glory at all ;)

Thank you all gentlemen. I feel like

Mason, You can get the General Weiss version separately. The good news is you're supposed to be able to that one as a standard type as well. I haven't opened mine yet.

Constable Bertrand, I figure the Emperor thought it was adequate since it was from his earlier days as a supreme chancellor.

The artisans of Cytran IV use a traditional unit of measure known as a "foot" rather than the Imperial mandated "meter".

A Reeducation Fleet has been dispatched..... :D

Cheers, mate.
I shall have to seek that out.

Thank You Mason. Grandma?

Thank You kidterminal......Grandma again? Are you guys trying to tell me something? 46 isn't that old, is it?

The Grandma thing is from the Little Red Riding Hood story.

'Oh my, Grandma, what big teeth you have'...etc.

That sound better. When I hear 'grandma' I always think of slow moving walkers/drivers, as in "Get off of the road Grandma!"

Oh, and Thank You Mike. Now I have an game idea. The rebels have to stop a Reeducation Fleet before it reaches an artist colony. Never throw away a good idea, especially if it comes from a player. Makes 'em feel guilty.

I knew His Excellency, May his wrath be furious, wouldn't have made such a error of judgement.

Great thread and thank you. I just caught up with it and I am amazed at your work. I've been very tempted by the Star War Imperial assault game and will get it next pay day.  :)

Thank You 6mmfan. My buddy Mike and I are planning to try out the rules in a couple weeks. I'll let you know how it went. To be honest, I picked up the set to get the minis. The game is kind of a bonus at this point.

I'm in the exact same situation. Picked up the game for the minis. The game was an added bonus  8)

Yeah I know what you mean. Being able to get good Star Wars figures in 28mm is awesome. Some of the expansions are a bit pricey and the other option is WOTC figures, but those seem a bit random quality wise.

The rules sound pretty cool and I like the fact there is 2 games in one, and even if the rules suck, the scenarios and campaign will be useful.

Cheers

Thank You D@rth J@ymZ and 6mmfan. I have loads of the WOTC plastics, but I just can't get excited about them. The FFG figures may be bendy plastic, but they aren't too bendy. I'm happy with the results I get from painting them. As for the rules, it doesn't hurt that they're so popular right now. Feels good to see more Star Wars minis coming out.

Time for an Update. I'll start off with my only proper Imperial Assault figure, Diala Passil haunted exile.

Looks like she needs another dull coat. I didn't like the skin color, so now she's green. If the player doesn't like it he can paint his own Twi'lik Jedi. I replaced the blade with brass rod. This was not my favorite figure from Imperial Assault. The mold lines were pretty rough, and the hand holding the light sabre is chunky as hell. Oh well. She's done now.

The next few items are all from other manufactures, for other games, but I thought they'd make fun props for Star Wars. First up is some ammo crates from DUST tactics. These were just weathered for effect. They are also REALLY BIG, as you can see when compared with the Stormtrooper.

Next up, a Heavy Labor Droid I made out of the Mule from the Eisenkern Trooper Accessory Set from Dreamforge Games. I replaced the walking feet with treads from a 1/144 halftrack and some plasticard.

I'm very happy with how the model turned out, but the paint job went wrong somewhere along the line. I did way, way too much weathering on this guy, and it obscures the details too much. I'll have to make another one soon. Here's a picture of the Heavy Labor Droid carrying one of the DUST ammo Crates.

And finally, here are some Doors from the lovely Sedition Wars Terrain Pack.

I probably went too far on the weathering on these too, but they'll look great on a Sedition Wars map. I included a Sedition Wars Vanguard trooper in there for scale comparison. You know, Stormtroopers would look good going through those SW scenarios. Hummm...

Let me know what you think.
