Beautiful and thanks for the heads up about Verlinden. Will have to investigate.

Every now and again I think things like "Yeah, but where is the fuel coming from?" and then remember I'm building steam powered tanks and mono wheels so I'd better just keep quiet...

Yeah, mostly I try to maintain a touch of realism, but for some things I just don’t fight it. I make my aluminium rust like old iron and I have endless gas guzzlers in an age of no fuel. Escapism rules!

 ;) ;) ;)

Another WIP. I've always loved the decaying Satellite array in Fallout 4. When Craig over at Uncertain Scenery produced a comms dish I saw my chance. The dish and its immediate base is from Uncertain Scenery and the tower is a mishmash of TTCombat and other bits.

I intend to have this as yet another remnant of the original military airfield on which my Junktown settlement is built.

Lots more weathering to go, but you get the idea.

Great stuff, as always. I have to leave stuff stockpiled for ages.
My friend says, "It needs more coats of looking at" You :-
Imagine it; Make it; Detail it AND Finish it, while I am still
waiting for the 29th coat of 'looking at' to fully dry.
Well done, please keep it up.

Love it. If it makes you feel any better, I have stuff (LOTS of stuff) with 15 years worth of 'looking at you coats'. The looking at you varnish is so thick you can't see the original thing any more. Some stuff just manages to bypass the pile. It's a lottery.

The Satellite Antenna is one more impressive item!
Eager to see it finished! Cheers!

That is nice.

It reminds me of a book I am reading at the Waterstones Memorial Library (The Electric State, qv).

OK, a bit of a posting drought but that's because I've been juggling too many projects at once, and now they are starting to cross the finish line. First up is the Satellite Array, made by Uncertain Scenery. Initially wasn't sure how to weather this, given that it's MDF, but a combination of salt and hairspray, sponge chipping and washes seems to have done the trick.
