Summoner at the moment.

Nothing puts the  :o  :'( on your opponent like a major demon.

Thaumaturge; because Dresden is my favourite Wizard ;)

But I'm currently working on a Necromancer and his posse, and have always loved playing summoners in D&D (PF).

Summoner,  as I like the fact a clumsy wizzard could by mistake summon a ďemon somewhere, which starts chasing him. :D

Illusionist, because screwing with people is fun.

When I started playing multi-player Warcraft 2 my first thought was "what happens if you polymorph a dragon over water"

When I read the spell descriptions in Frostgrave, I assumed Transpose was meant t otoss wandering monsters into your opponent!

I'm still pondering what to go for, but Summoner seems like an interesting way to go ...if only because that means that I get to make Daedra models for my Morrowind themed warband. :D

Elementalist! I'm almost always some sort of fire wizard when I get a chance to videogame, definitely one for the "stand back and be offensive" approach

As an undead fan my first choice is the necromancer. Second is elementalist or enchanter.

Chronomancer, mainly inspired by the artwork.
I think my favourite miniature is the Necromancer, but I didn't want a necromancer, so although the miniature of the Chronomancer doesn't quite (IMO) live up to the artwork that was the one I went for. And it's a very nice model and I'm very pleased with her. I also think that it's the nicest apprentice with the set, which influenced my choice a bit.

That said, I'll probably be back to see Nick for a Necromancer in a couple of weeks anyway...

I'm not surprised that the Necromancer and Elementalist are coming out top.

But no love for the Sigilist?

I also think the Enchanter has a lot of potential.

I would have expected the Necromancer, Elementalist, and Thaumaturge to be the top three.

Started by fleshing out a Necromancer, then got an idea for an 'alternative' Thaumaturge warband, which I am going to do first.

Am probably going to do most schools along the way, though.

It would be interesting to see a Sigilist in a long campaign.

Start with Absorb Knowledge, Create Grimoire and Write Scroll.  Start significantly behind the other wizards on the board but see if your out of game warband acceleration from increased gold and XP gains can catch you up, or even overtake the others in the long run.
