finally finisehd my Sigilist's Warband

My troup is lead by are some well known Sigilists - called "Ink Heart" in dwarven society - named Ogalf Bookson and his apprentice Torin Kendel.
They are one half laughed upon by their brethren, cause they deal with ink, which is not as reliable as stone. But then they are highly honored, because they took it upon themself to deal with the matters of searching lost dwarfish artefacts and while on a journey paper is better than stone for obvious reasons.
However ... ink makes the beards black - we all know this, I am sure (I am still thinking how to show this on the minis without ruining them °_O).

Then there is the tunnelfighter Stonislav Bookson, actually distantly related to the Sigilist's clan.
Accompanied by famous and shapely Dolly B. Arovsdottir and the other crossbower - who is just called Boltson. He is more the secretive type, even according to dwarven standards.

Though there is no such thing than a thief in dwarven society, there are sure some very keen "collectors" named Iwan Luigi Rebrowson, Yurison Dentonow and the sisters Lotta and Evenmor Pankakis.

To ... ahm ... speed things up ... the dogs are Lolek und Bolek.

Thanks for reading. :D

And on to my next troup of Frostgravers.
I am planning an Illusionist.

That is this guy.
http://static1.squarespace.com/static/519babf9e4b022aa1cdaf4df/554ea597e4b0d78e1a2a3af1/556602c5e4b04a9826aaba01/1452428963076/Dwarf+with+Cigar.jpg?format=500w
Bought him some time ago, just because he was cool ... and a dwarf.

So, Linus Bartholomew Schröder is an Illusionist. Always after a big attraction he shouts "Peanuts!" to mark, that what he does is nothing at all.
However, he wasn't always that successful with showing hypnosis, teleportation, invisibility and such. Meaning, he WAS successful, but when people found out that it was actually NOT a trick at all, he often nearly ended up on the wrong side of a pyre ... with a very good view from the top. He chose not to try that trick.

When he once again was fleeing from the mob, he run into a big guy. A very big and luckily hungry guy. And since that big guy does look like subtlety was neither his physical nor a psychological trait ... the arrangement was as quick as it was simple.
"Protection for food?"
A couple of minutes later Mura - the big guy's name - was gulping down food in a dubious tavern and Linus was paying. And that's how it is ever since.

Around the same time Linus' barrel organ - he some time ago had bought from an old carpenter, whose grinning face slowly begins to make sense - began to show some strange behaviour. Not does it play all on its own ... it also follows Linus and ... ahm ... demands money and occasionally some oil for its inner ... organs?
Well, Linus Bartholomew Schröder could live with that.
He bought a trained monkey as well - so not to have to feed the organ himself - and went on ...

So, that is the core of my new gang.
Illusionist, two "warhounds" and a barbarian. Thought of some jesters from LAM and some knife throwing ladies ...

another WIP-pic, this time from my Illusionist to be. Also his bodyguard or Zirkus-Kraftmaxe "Mura".
Right hand is another marker, I planning to paint.

Hope to finish most of Linus this weekend.

May I introduce Linus Bartolomex Schröder, Illusionist, WIP (wery important person ^^), but withou a "Heisenberg-Spell". Base and some highlights still ongoing

And here's my Sigilist's warband, also a bit sharper. And no ... I did not change an option on my tablet-cam, I changed the cam. But unfortunately that has other disadvantages, I will not bore You with. ;)

Some zooms from Lolek & Bolek and Stonislav

and Dolly B. Arovdottir with Boltson

As always the "closeup" brings it out, I should have worked more carefully ... however, the Ratnik-LAMs are soooo fun to paint!!

Those boars are really nice, you made want to buy a set of those as well. Not that the rest isn't nice; quit the opposite actually, I like how you use all the different brands and turn them in working (nice looking) warbands.
Why aim for gold if you can get lead?

Thanks, Brax.

But be careful, the boars are from GW and with orcs on top. I had someone who wanted those parts, so we sort off shared the box. ;)

Yes, that is the very good part of Frostgrave, one may throw in everything. It all fits somehow with little effort. Minis, stories, background ... love it.

Thanks a lot, jp! It is fun to paint for a game that is fun to play. ^^

So, last pic for today. Again, the Heisenberg-versions, sorry. These are my new treasure markers. Choose carefully, which to pick up and which not.  8)

so, now a better pic from the skeletons (see above)

And here is Linus Bartholomew "Doc" Schröders right hand "Mura", for hard labour and sometimes the dirty ones, too.  :D
Still have to o some highlights in the face and have to finish the tubes from Linus as well, maybe a darker brown or green, do not want them to stick out too much.

Also, I did some more NPCs for Frostgrave:

First my woolenly rhino ... will use it as a bear ... so, do not feed the rhino, it's a bear!
Also, a bit WIP, need to do the harness ... fluff has it, that it is a former circus-bear ... obviously not pleased about its past and particularly with men.

Then my Frostgolem ... tried some jewelry on it with the same "gems" I used for my bases ... I am pleased so far, but already erased the "crown" again. Less is more.
