Glorious!
 :-*  :-*  :-*

Oh I do like that, very nice, the sign is weathered so well, and the seats/drink gubbins looks truly post apocalyptic.

Cheers
Matt

Oh i like that piece a lot! Very good job on it. Maybe you could add some dark strokes beneath the windows and round hole, to improve the weathering a little more.
Is that tress behind the Sodastand WIP or considered as finished? The Moldline an the lack of deepth brings the overall piece a bit down atm. imo.

You caught me, DELTADOG. The tree isn't finished - and is just resting in the slot for the tree-base at the moment. I overlooked this when taking pictures, apparently.  ;D

Glad that you all love the Nuka Cola stand. Wasn't so sure what to do with that Plasticville kit - it was probably one of my least favorite.

While I was working on that I was prepping my factory building. Wanted to share some WIP shots as I got the majority of the paint on it. I'm thinking maybe this will be a RobCo facility. Any other suggestions?

These past couple months have been a really fun learning experience and I am feeling pretty confident in how the quality of my terrain has improved as the process has gotten easier.

You really seem to have hit a sweet spot between speed and great results. Could you summarise the steps you take for a typical Plasticville piece, perhaps the factory building or the Nuka stand, as an example? I would love to put your techniques to work our table.

I like the RobCo idea, maybe it's a repair shop?

I would go for the Red Racer idea! For a RobCo Facility its simply too small imo.

Really great Work on it so far!

I do not consider myself a speedy hobbyist. I've been working on my 40k Tyranids for a couple years and have barely painted up 2000pts. I am amazed that i've gotten so much done lately. Particularly all these terrain pieces. This genre really invokes my imagination and gets me pumped to build and paint. All my efforts have really energized my local group around playing This Is Not A Test. I'll try and write up a painting summary later.

Thanks everyone for the cool ideas. Red Racer factory, huh? I should have gone with a red paint scheme then... Hmm...

That would be awesome, I've built up a decent stack of Plasticville buildings awaiting assembly and paint and your results look great but also doable, which is the more important of the two for me personally. lol

That makes two of us.  :D Your enthusiasm and style are both contagious.

It's very kind of you to consider it. Even just a few sketchy notes would be welcome. Your posts so far provide some great hints at what you have been doing.
