Hey all!

The water bottles are from Meng Miniatures. You can find them on Amazon for like 8$.

The Lawyer is from Spectre miniatures. They make some really awesome modern minis and cool scenario minis like the one I used for the Lawyer.

The buildings are from Gamecraft Miniatures. They make some really awesome stuff. I am painting up a set of those brownstone buildings and will post them when they are done. I'm very close to finishing them.

Wanted to share an update of a big terrain project I've been working on this last month or so. This is a set of buildings from Gamecraft miniatures. I have a few minor details to finish up - some work on the doors and stairways but other than that they are done. I think i'm going to take glamour shots this weekend with a nice camera, so I wanted to give everyone a chance to suggest any touch-ups or anything like that before I finish up. Hope you all enjoy!

Lovely, the shading looks very believable and gungy, just perfect ;)

I like the broken glass windows. 8) 8)

No door knobs? Perhaps a few torn curtains? Might add a little more interest /hiding factor.

Cheers

Very cool paintjob. I would add some moosy greenish glaze to the bottom socket of the building to bring a littlebit more life in them. I really recommend the Vallejo Model Color wash Dark Yellow 76.503 for that easy to handle and grad looking results!

Great feedback guys. I think i'll add a bit more green shade to the buildings and definitely check out the vallejo wash. Door knobs is an interesting idea. Like it! Drapes! Wow, that'd be cool. Not sure how i'd pull that off though. Do you know of any drape tutorials out there?

These would be freakin' perfect for the new Fallout minis junkie starting in the Commonwealth!  Well played!

Babywipes (without a pattern, lest u get little unicorns everywhere) when dried completely, cut to size and folded over a few times, then soaked in a non water soluable PVA glue make for excellent curtains and drapes.

Curtain in the middle. Sorry that I don't have a better picture right now..... :(

Here are some more shots of the Brownstone buildings. I got access to a nice camera this weekend so I took lots of photographs.

They are lovely buildings, pity it costs a fortune to have stuff like that shipped from the USA. Anyone know a good UK (or even better, EU) retailer who cuts stuff like this?

Thanks guys! It was a fun project. Was a bit draining to paint so many of the same type of buildings - I have a bit too much hobby ADHD for that. :P They do look great all together though. I've never had such a consistent and thematic set of terrain before. Loving it.

Down the road I want to consider adding some bits to the outside of these to spruce them up some more. I'm thinking broken air conditioning units, busted sattelite dishes, power lines, etc. I also want to get some dumpsters or trash cans to decorate the outside of the buildings.
