Crocodile Folk of Dragon Rampant
« on: January 12, 2016, 09:35:10 AM »
Heya.

I recently got a copy of Dragon Rampant, and figured I should put together a warband. Without further ado, here's the roster:

Beloved of Sobek (8 pts total): Elite Foot (6 pts); Fear (2 pts), Single Model Unit
Armoured Sebeki (6 pts total): Bellicose Foot (4 pts); Shiny Armour (2 pts)
Sebeki Warriors (4 pts total): Bellicose Foot (4 pts)
Basti Archers (6 pts total): Light Missiles (4 pts); Sharpshooter (2 pts)

And some pics. I've had these painted by a friend many years ago. Dragon Rampant was a great excuse to dig these up. One or two minis need a bit of a touch up where the top-heavy crocs tumbled snout-first into the ground.

First, the archers.

The foot sans armour.

The armoured foot. Need to retake the photo, as the white balance is uggers.

The beast. A bit out of focus, need to retake the photo.

[EDIT] I took some better photos, see next page.

This guy I want to slot into one of the foot units as the leader. Again, a bit out of focus.

[EDIT] I took some better photos, see next page.

I've also got some mummies (these ones painted by me. The paint jobs are a lot more rudimentary!) to put a start to the second warband. I'll try to snap some pics tomorrow.

Best wishes,
Michael

Lovely stuff, thanks for sharing  :)

Those look great. Wargods always seemed to need a few too many models for my taste, but a Dragon Rampant army might be a more reasonable size.

Thanks, All. Coincidentally, if you're ever in Melbourne, Australia, and want to play Dragon Rampant, give me a shout.

Here are the mummies I painted up ages ago. I think I went a bit overboard with the camera settings on this one. Taking photos when you work full-time and rely on natural light is a pain in the bum. ):

[EDIT] I took some better photos, see next page.

I'll dig up the remaining Eater of the Dead minis and paint them up one of these days.

Best wishes,
Michael
