Here is a photo of it as I was building it.

Sculpey is a polymer clay that has to be baked, right?  So how long did you have to bake it?

I baked that treant for 45 minutes at 270F / 132C.  15 mins per 1/4" or so.

Somebody called me a 'machine' just the other day, for having a lot of things going on...
I think you deserve that label more than me (in the most positive way). Impressive, most impressive! And inspirational!

Is it the creature known as 'roper'?
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

Yep, working on a roper :)  Still need to add the rock detail of the stalagmite it is attempting to imitate :)

What do you think about the texture?  Would it fit in with a cavern? I know it would go well in Bryce Canyon.

It looks more like erosion vs. stalagmite. Don't know if there are ever eroded columns in a water cavern.

Maybe this is just a stupid roper trying to fit in and not doing the greatest at imitating a stalagmite :)

I kind of like the texture because it also looks like wrinkled skin which this alien might have.

(I still don't know what to do about the eyes.)

A quick question, if you don't mind: How tall objects can you print on your 3D-printer, please?
