Where did you find such large pieces of corrugated card?

I bought a new bed from IKEA - it had LOADS of the small detailed cardboard!  lol

Here in Germany, you can buy corrugated cardboard from crafts stores (Idee Creativmarkt, in my case). It´s only covered on one side, and there´s a huge variety of patterns, most in straights of various strengths, others wavy, etc. (although the latter are less useful to replicate corrugated metal, obviously). A 50x70cm sheet costs ~€1,95 (I already used the part of the card where the price sticker was, it may be a bit cheaper, but certainly not above 2 Euros). I´m afraid the closest Idee to Groningen is in Bremen, but I´m sure that you´ve got crafts stores in the Netherlands as well - I mean, you´ve got all kinds of nifty stores, so there must be some.

I saw this on sweetwater, but always forgot to comment. Absolutely stunning. Not just the miniatures and the painting, but also your creativity and, dare I say, vision! You have captured the feel of Fallout to the last radioactive bit! Amazing! :-*

More piccies!

Raider Gang:

And a Vault Dweller:

All from EM-4. Sterling service again, except (a very minor "except") for the Vault Dweller, which was a mispacked figure - but I got the number of figures I paid for, I could really use this one as well, and the missing figure wasn´t all that much required, anyway, so no problem afterall.

Very nice, though the pictures (of the raiders) could be a bit larger with less white if you ask me ;)

I like the different styles on the raiders (Punks in neon colours, and more primal voodoo people, etc.) and also a very nice job on the vault dweller (great model too ;)).

Ooh, Vault 13. Old-skool Fallout!

I'm more of a Vault 101 type of girl (or at least, my character is, though she has souvenir jumpsuits from several vaults).

So bongo, bongo, bongo, I don't wanna leave the Congo, oh no no no no no...

You´re perfectly right, of course, so I went back and tried to get the pictures a little bit better and bigger, and the background less bright.

Harumph. Never knew what was supposed to be wrong with isometric graphics! ;)

Anyway, I already painted a ghoul from Vault 12, but that is looking so ghastly (being an old Alternative Armies figure) that I still ponder whether to show it or not. Requires a base in any case.

... a young African-American girl with a shaved head and wearing a pink nightie and Abraham Lincoln's hat, while toting a rather tatty-looking hunting rifle ...

Plynkes, I know pictures of that girl!
Ever since I have read Your post, I have been asking myself if she has appeared in a comic drawn by Dave Gibbons(?) I cannot remember the title or the story, though.
I know that I liked it very much! But for the love of you know who I cannot remember the title of that comic. Do You?

You must have been thinking about Martha Washington:

I have all those comics and they are great :)

Its the fact penguin meat has a high proportion of fat in it, That means you can avoid mixing the pirmary meat with pork neck in order to get the 30% fat ratio a good sausage needs. Pure cute endangered species flavour with the tangy kick of pineapple to set it off.  :-*

Errr... did I leave some weapons-grade uranium lying around in this thread?!?  :-I ;)

Quick update: Just finished converting three Brahmin mutant cattle. Painting to ensue tomorrow!

Unfortunately, the 40mm bases (EM-4) guarantee for increased stability! lol
