Sometimes it's just nice to see what people are doing. It also spurs you along a bit if others are also into a game or figure range, like all the Frostgrave malarkey.
And I'm sure your painting isn't that bad

I really like the urban war stuff but it is a little pricey (not GW pricey) so I tend to get other stuff first. Also I usually prioritise Fantasy. You're making me want to get some a little bit more though.
I know we've already had a thread about the price of miniatures so I'm well aware there's a bit of disparity between what customers and manufacturers want from a price tag, but I have to agree that the UW stuff can be a bit pricey. The prices are a bit inconsistent as well which is bizarre. With UW being dead and Scotia having the models as more of an archive service than a product that's new and current I think a bit of a price reduction would do well to attract people, especially considering how useful the models are for other things.
