Last saturday. Romans versus Celts in the main square of Lugo, NW Spain. My first ancient game in 30+ years and a complete rout for the Celts. Rules used were Hail Caesar. Celts were mainly painted by me.







Incidentally, I was NOT dressed as any kind of Roman or Celt. Just my usual barbarian chic....  

Oh and as to the result, we, the Celts, got our heads handed to us by the Romans.....

I agree, I am making an effort to document games so I can post in this thread. And the above game looks good - learning that Lugo is the only city in the world to be surrounded by completely intact Roman walls. What have the Romans ever done for us (Australians)?

Another game of Zombicide (we're doing a quasi campaign with rules we made up on the fly...sadly I only get to play board games right now mostly)



Ahhh, when you spawn 20+ zombies in a single tile.  We actually won despite this, losing only one of six characters.

Played the XCOM boardgame last night (got our ar..s kicked twice) but no pics of that.
Last Tuesday I someone also opened a can of whoopass in Frostgrave. I managed to "find" the Djinn in the second turn and with no magical weapons or offensive spells (Bone Dart isn't a magical attack unfortunately) there wasn't much I could do against it and it put a thug and my apprentice out of the fight

Played Micro Armour game today. Eastern front Germans vs Russians fight over a pair of bridges. I used a set of home brewed rules

The follow up to our Sharp Practice AWI game. "Bigger Steps Forth"  featured the Colonial Colonel Charles Bigger attempting to push the British back even further than he had at Greasy Creek. Sir Bernard, however,  was not caught napping. The brief summary is here:
