Looking for ideas on character cards

I am putting together some 28mm Pirates Highwaymen civilians etc and thought it would be nice to individualise each figure with a character card has anyone done this who could give me some ideas? I have been inspired by the Dorset Smuggler scenario on this forum what's more I am in Dorset so would love to draw from local historical sources.

Dr De'Ath is the man to talk to as he did all our cards for Dorset, Mars, M+T etc (and will be doing more in the near future).

He is off gallivanting at the moment but will hopefully be along soon enough to help you
