They are quite dinky...

This evening I've been mostly tidying up rough edges - will make a start on the V-beams tomorrow.

Thanks all...it feels like everytime I take tiny steps forward, I seem to add more things to the "to-do" list.

Some minor detailing out of card...




A start on the anti-ship guns, which still need tidying up...




...and a start on the V beams, six down twenty-two more to go.  Once I've added the facing to the hoop, it should hide the untidy finish on the beams.

My first thought was that if I get stuck, and run out of time, was to add a tiny Darth Vader, inspecting the lack of progress and call it a diorama... 

Just found the missing hoop, so I can get on with the next stage.

All by eye. The hoops aren't perfectly round, so there is a substantial degree of "making it fit".

I made a few test pieces and measured it all out by trial error, to come up with something that looks ok.
