Thanks everyone, will keep plugging away, work permitting.

Coming along superbly. So will you be doing Ties or will they be too small?

Tie fighters are a couple of millimetres across in this scale - I might make some, time permitting, but failing that I've got a handful off of shapeways I could use.

This evening's progress is more small bits of wood stuck onto a bigger piece of foamboard while I slowly lose what remains of my mind....

It's only about 1mm thick.

It's a case of what I've got to hand - it's very fine basswood so it's flexible, cuts incredibly easily, and has virtually no grain.

It's really quite awesome how adding 'randomly organised' little bits brings it to life.  8)
