How are you planning on detailing it? Do you have a bundle of model kits to sacrifice for parts for this?

I do have some model kits that will make some sacrifices to the cause however will likely scratch a lot of it and anything and everything that is around is fair game. Currently trying to source a really really small kitchen sink .

The bottom is all sorts of weird angles and took more time than expected.

I want to see this ready - it's coming along very well.

Top decking is mostly complete with one slice left open so I can make final adjustments when I finish the rear engine section. The side corridor sections are ready to place but thought an update first would be nice. Detailing to start in earnest and working out the cockpit.


Building the side docking port/escape pods.


Sorted out the front landing gear and the rear ones are the same but built in tandem. Will add some cabling when I mount it.

That landing gear looks great but the Health and Safety people will have a field day with that construction.

Its a big build, but coming together very nicely. 
That's some seriously strong landing gear, but I guess it needs to be to hold a model that size.
