Base painted Evil Bear Foxhound PMV. Cameras and lights still to be painted.

Crooked Dice William Killian for scale.

On deployment.

Empress SAS use their Foxhound for cover.

Inspired by ChargeDogs's blog (here), I dug out the Evil Bear Medium Combat Support Drone.

A six wheel all terrain chassis supports a remote weapon mount equipped with a GPMG.

The drone provides fire support to advancing SAS operators (Empress Miniatures).

Nice additions dude. Been a while since I graced this thread. Love how the kit bashed infantry turned out.

The Crossover troops with the helmets look good as well. Are they the standard heads that come with the crossover minis?

Thanks

These are Ballistic Heads straight out of the packet (with an MP5 added to the leader and removed the integral bases):

They are currently not on the Crossover site and are out of stock on Minibits.

This is slightly off-topic, but the range is marketed at the Ultramodern end of "modern" conflict.

The Evil Bear British powered suit.

Armed with a GPMG and equipped with armour proof against small arms, the trooper can wade through infantry fire. Supporting two Empress SAS operators.

not at all persuaded by the PLA type 07 camo... it does not look like the winter (brownish) or summer (grayish) versions. It just look like a woodland knock off!

I have a good video... but it is too large to attach...  :(

Digicam is a swine to paint. I based it on the plates from the Osprey book.

The Citadel Snot Womble base colour probably does not help, I did try Citadel Zandri Dust but that is too yellow. Humbrol Desert Tan might have been a better bet. Some additional dry brushing might lighten the colour.

I have just this morning added the camouflage to some more figures (after painting "Brenda's" boots).

Trying to make it visually different from other figures, such as modern British:

Twilight 2000 British

SAS

Soviets
