I probably would too.

My Western figures are also used exclusively for Shadows of Brimstone, but I find I am enjoying painting the "extras" as well, and we frequently encounter bandits anyway.  Also, we are slowly introducing more of an RPG element to the game and recently had our first more traditional skirmish game using a hybrid of SoB and Mordheim.  Lots of of the "extra" BS Western figures saw action in that scenario.

I can seem him maybe not wanting to sell individual miniatures, but would think that packs designed with SoB might sell well.  It does seem to be an fairly popular game.

I totally agree with you, Michael. I'm a huge fan Shadows of Brimstone and I would love to see variant figures of the Heroes available, especially if they were made by Black Scorpion.

The undead faction is now up for preview.  Very nice, in a really creepy meaning of the word "nice".  Going to be quite useful for Shadows of Brimstone (as will some of the upcoming DMH releases).

The last group of miniatures for the Kickstarter that starts this week is up - the females.

https://www.blackscorpionminiatures.com/

I am very pleased - some really nice figures there, and Mr. Clarke has dialed back the cheese-cakey elements compared to the older female Tombstone figures.

Previews of the rulebook are supposed to start going up tomorrow.

The earlier preview female gunslinger had mostly decided it already, but this round cinched it. Most certainly backing the kickstarter for a couple of factions. Not only are the sculpts less cheescake, they are also technically much better than their old offerings of female Old West minis.

All of the factions look great, but the undead and females especially so. I'll be backing this project big time.  :)

Not the same as no cheesecake, just way better than their old sculpts.

I was hoping for some stretch goals but it looks as thought when you reach a goal you will only be given the pleasure of giving them more money

Kickstarter preview:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/69613072/1000057089?token=c133e80e

As I wrote in the feedback I don't know if I'll back.
A kickstart is a way to help someone in finding funds for a project in exchange for a better value. A kind of loan
If I have to pay almost the same price as in the online store in the near future there is no incentive to back

Great minia anyway

Post, the answer that I received:
"HI Davide, well you can wait for it to be online in the store, but as you say it will cost you a little more without the free stuff."

I think they'll do well here, even if just because of the minis.  I'm curious about the game system.  It's nice to see another tiered dice game, and it "seems" that this game may be playable on a very small surface.

But that is all dependent on bonus materials unlocked in the Kickstarter.  That's how most established companies do their KS.  All of the KS normally start at retail cost (maybe a slight discount).  The "value" perceived by the consumer is normally a result of bonus unlocks, or freebies, essentially.

Yes, I know
but in this case you have more or less only 5% discount of the retail cost and only 1 or 2 free minia even if you back for 3/4 faction.

Yeah, most unlocks seem to be Add Money add ons (they just added a free mini at 50k).   I also think making the exclusive vulture mini exclusive to not only KS, but to a single pledge tier is a bit silly.   I cannot think of a reason to not allow others to add it to their pledge.

This Kickstarter is to put the project in action and to give us exact numbers of the book and miniatures ordered to aid in printing and production logistics.

So really it is a pre-order with some discount, but nothing spectacular.

I'll likely back at some level, but not terribly excited about this one even though I like many of the sculpts.

Exactly how i feel about it. Nothing to make think i need to fully back this and not wait for it in retail.
