Also technobarbarians versus thunder warriors is going to be a cinch. Converted Sigmar fellows versus Goliaths. Easy peasy.

I'm in, though I'm not a fan of action point systems - never enjoyed that much.

If you didn't enjoy 1st ed Space Hulk you have no soul  ;)  (Unless that isn't what you had in mind with AP systems).

Time to go back to WH40K. Most of the models will probably be enhancing my Dark Heresy RPG sessions as well. :) Statuesque female headset and those Escher = love at first sight.

Well I'll see what the new rules are like before purchasing them. I have about 5 necromunda gangs, Cawdor, Orlock, Goliath, a small amount of ratskins, Scavvies and Spyrers plus a huge amount of hired guns (Wyrds, bounty hunters, Scum etc) and random figures from various factions. I don't think I actually need new minis... but who is that stopping anyway.

What I hope personaly, is that these new releases will lower the prices for old necromunda metal figures : I still need to find some spyrers and vansaar heavy weapon for cheap  lol

I wonder how big the new plastics will be against the old metals

That's a good question ! Especially for us who have a metal figures collection from the old days.

For the gotiaths, it should not be a problem, considering they are gangers on steroids, except if weapons are very diferent from the originals, but for the other gangs, it will be interesting to find the answer !

I like the update on the Goliaths, I was never a fan of the previous incarnations.

Picking this up for sure, here's hoping it's not a silly limited print run ;)

Wonderful news, guys! I'm really excited about this. I'm all in with Jagannath's ideas: Necromunda/ AoS - Crossover!!!!

He-Man, Flash Gordon, Leather Goddesses of Phobos! Wow, this could be cool!

Chuffed that they're bringing an updated Necromunda back for sure. I like the Goliath models - they could definitely used for other projects too. The Eschers... I don't know, their legs seem rather sturdy to me, big ol chunky boots! I'll be keen to see how they scale up with other stuff.

I was so happy to see this finally announced, I dropped my Game of Thrones KS pledge to $1. lol

I'm anticipating getting two or three sets depending on what the terrain offering is like. I believe they said no new terrain, so we'll likely get some of the Shadow War terrain.

Love what I'm hearing about the rules changes. Ditching IGOUGO is long overdue. Supposedly bringing back some things from Rogue Trader for stats too. Will be interesting to say the least.

Personally, I wouldn't mind them redoing the cardboard floors and plastic bulkheads again.

It worked really well last time and would mean that the starter set would be a bit more affordable. After all, if there are two gangs involved you are probably looking at 6-7 miniatures per gang.

Shadow War is around £100. The coverage the older Necromunda starter set gave on a table was fantastic.
