What a treat to have find this thread. Lovely stuff all around with great paintjob and nice conversions. Will there be an army shot for us soon?

Well, I can never help myself - I just keep adding to my army.  This idea just jumped out at me while I was watching a friend of mine play Warmachine - I grabbed these off the table, and went to where I had my workbox, found the belgian cavalryman I had not yet decided what I wanted to mount on, and started laughing maniacally.

After all, horses would be hellishly expensive to keep when there is not easy grazing.

Sorry, I somehow just found this thread, thanks to the new thread you started. Beautiful work, all of it.

One question, though, about these cavalry? How do they sit on the boiler and not burn their backsides off?

I am using the same models as self-propelled artillery pieces. For 28mm, I plan to use a walk behind crewman. For 15mm, they will be automatons. For 6mm, they are vehicles.

I loves me some scale neutrality!

Mars is cold, due to the distance from the sun.  The boiler just keeps their tushies warm!
