Thanks for the kind words.

Why the novice prospectors, newly arrived from Europe, are mining here after being assured by the local sellers that it was "a sure thing" will, no doubt, keep the fledgling legal profession in Purgatory busy for many billable hours...

15 I think you might have answered your own question as regards to the trade off between realism and playability ( and storage!) - I did consider using a more substanial rock formation or even making it a corner piece but playability, and perhaps sanity, won out.

Having built ( and sold on) Purgatory and San Miguel three times last year I'm beginnig to question the practicality ( and storage) of having so much terrain for a six aside skirmish game. San Miguel has multiple uses for my TWI/ Pirate and ACW in the West games but for now 28mm Purgatory will be retired especially as I found these while putting the Christmas decorations away...

tinned fruit, you make a well reasoned response.  Except!  Sanity?  In wargaming?  Perish the thought!  :o

Decided that San Miguel would have a less substantial place of worship so I decided to repurpose a Warbases Modular building I picked up for a £5.

Thanks for looking.

Lovely work and the pot near the door is a lovely addition - where did you get said pot from?

Who is the bride that will marry Archie?

Very nice looking capilla, lovely work, you could use that all the way to the Darién Gap and a bit beyond.

The pots and jugs are 3d prints from Sabotag3d https://www.sabotag3d.com/

You might need to message him as they are not on the site.

Penultimate 28mm addition for San Miguel but useful for the Peninsula and Italy.
