Great work - the terrain and figures really give an Andor/Mando feel to the game.

"A routine patrol" Part 2.

"ALARM!!!" A shout goes out from one of the Corpo Thugs as he recognises one of the rebels amongst the crowds of civilians!

Bhon Ko is quick to react, he steps out from behind cover and fires a SHOT. "Click!!!" His blaster rifle falls silent as the Tibanna gas cartridge runs out... (We record out of ammo with spent cartridge cases)

Meanwhile Dungar Rees takes aim and the same thing happens as his blaster rifle also fails to fire and he subsequently needs to reload.

Seeing the Rebels failing to bring pressure on the Corpos they quickly across the table to cut off the Rebels escape, taking up a position in the market place.

However Captain Linta and his crew are already moving forward and a firefight develops. Unfortunately the rebels are better shots and drop two Corpos in quick succession:

Meanwhile the Corpos on the right try to outflank Cheewan, one of them climbing onto a roof.

However the Force is with Cheewan and he blasts the first trooper, wounding him, before heading for safety.

The Corporate leader seeing his men falling around him decides to charge the unsuspecting Rebel Leader and engage him in hand to hand combat. Thinking he will have the upper hand as he has a security droid with him.

He overcomes Captain Linta and places binders onto his wrists. However Bhon' Ko seeing his Captain in chains charges forward uttering a loud war cry and joins the fight!

Another Corpo thug joins the melee and for a moment the fight hangs in the balance as the combatants lash out at each other with fist and blaster butt.

The fight is over quickly. The rebels are victorious as the Corpo Captain and his trooper lay motionless on the ground. Captain Linta frees himself from his shackles.

With only two corpo thugs left, one makes a run for it. Captain Linta and his crew decide now is the time to leave before Imperial reinforcements arrive.

Ignoring the trooper who is also out of ammunition, Captain Linto, Bhon' Ko, Cheewan, Groota and Dungar escape off the table.

The remaining trooper recovers his nerve and decides to try and apprehend Neera, the last rebel trying to make her escape.

Already wounded and out of ammo he nevertheless charges Neera. Sadly for Neera she is untrained in close combat and is quickly overpowered despite the trooper being wounded and is taken into custody....

****TO BE CONTINUED*****

So a pretty convincing victory for the rebels, only one of them captured and four corpos put out of action, including their leader. Many Renoun points for the rebels, only one for the Empire for one prisoner lol

THE FORCE IS WTH US, LONG LIVE THE REBELLION, LONG LIVE THE DREAM!

 :)

COMING SOON.... Scenario 2: "A Prisoner for Interrogation"...

Excellent report Nick. I think James needs some Stormies!

Is there really some kind of capturing mechanic or is that just your narrative?

We just adapted the rules if you won a round of close combat rather than wound you could subdue the opponent. Quick and simple.

Splendid stuff! Power to the PLFN! I would have a quiet word with the PLFN armourer though, the Tibanna gas cartridge running out in the first shot smacks of a lackadaisical approach to basic weapon maintenance.   ;)

Indeed and it happening to two of them in rapid succession. I think there maybe reprisals. ;)
