Last lap...

Finished off the cannibal allies.

The completed unit.

A shot of the whole force.

A few close-ups:

Well, that's it. All done. A Belgian force for T&T skirmish games. Just about the right size, I reckon.

Well, I say finished, but I can always add to it later. I still have more askari I could paint, and some of those African musketmen. But if it gets too big I'll need too many natives. So I'm declaring it finished. For now. Just need someone for them to fight now.

Plynkes,

I have tried several times in the past two days to copy your straw hats, what colors did you use?  If you don't remember that's cool. I have a little project going should have pic's to post in a few weeks.

Really must get back into the habit of writing this kind of information down. Can't remember exactly, but I think it was something like this:

Coat d'Arms Leather Brown, perhaps with a little bit of GW Graveyard Earth or something like that in it.
-Then given a wash of GW Gryphonne Sepia.
-Finally highlighted with the original colour plus something in the same area but lighter. Can't remember exactly what it was, Coat d'Arms Buff or Linen or one of their sands. Something like that.

Sorry for being a bit vague. Head like a sieve, me. I Look forward to seeing your project.

Beautiful work, Plynkes!  :-* That mule is the orneriest looking critter of its kind I've seen for a long time!
