I undercoated my first 6 figures yesterday and will start painting tomorrow.  Cutting it tight I know but I hope to beat the deadline.
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2025 = 74
(2024 = 38; 2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

Nearly done on rounds one, two and three. I'll probably send then in at the weekend.

I'm really looking forward to see the other entries  :)

cheers

Still working on my first round entry.  Making things harder for myself by converting them first. Painting should be completed in the next couple of evenings.  Round 2 already done, giving me a breathing space for Round 3 etc.
Looking forward to next Monday morning.... :D

mmmkay...I'm showing severe signs of noobness in this League.

Taking pics didn't go as well as I thought. Man is it hard to take good photos of your mini's once they're painted up, but it will do for now!
So I wanted to enter my first round team, it's as good as it gets, and understanded that it should be e-mailed to Prof. Witchheimer.

Can somebody point me in the direction of the correct adress?
In looking for it I think I must have missed it somewhere 'cause after re-reading rules, profiles and general league info I'm starting to go cross-eyed  o_o

No really, that already happened a long time ago from painting figurines!!!  ;D

Thanks!

Hi there Northstar.

No, taking good pics is just as hard as painting!  :)

Can we enter a group of figures that are painted and varnished but have no bases in the LPL? :?
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

'Fraid not.

The rule is:

"The only hard and fast rule - all figures must be completely painted, and all bases must be finished. We ONLY accept pictures of finished models, "work in progress" (WIP) shots are NOT allowed."

Obviously the nature of the base and finish itself is up to you though - so this could just mean the integral base painted green. Although that wouldn't really be in the spirit of the league  ;)

And I seem to recall a number of occasions where voters stated that half-done bases had actually convinced them to vote in favour of the other entry; I'd say finished, decently-done bases can serve you well as a tie-breaker when people have a hard time deciding between two entries.

I should have read the rules better… Sorry ::)

I’ve got several half-painted figures that I intend to sell without bases so the buyer could base them according to his liking.

Anyway, the rule is pretty obvious so I will just dig in the lead mountain and find something else to enter the LPL.

Thanks pals 8)

I've got my week two entry done, but my week one entry is only half finished, should all be good in time.  :)

Rounds 1 and 2 are submitted, rounds 3 and 4 are about half way completed and round five is done and photographed. Just need to scrounge up the second half.

Would some choice Warmachine minis count as VSF?

Got the first figure for Round 3 painted, and the other four are mostly basecoated.
