Curtis, if I may make a suggestion.  Your vehicles scream for mounted weapon upgrades.  Nothing fancy just a heavy machine gun (chain gun, .50 cal, etc.), a missile launcher, small arms (rifles, shotguns, etc.) and what not.  I was thinking along the lines of Stan Johansen stuff in 28mm.  Thanks.

Joey

I totally agree, but I would have to do them in metal as the resin would not be so good for guns. Metal means extra development cost. But yes, weapons are needed....

On a related note, I have a whole pile of mostly plastic weapons (mainly from old GW stuff but some EM4 and other stuff too) that I have been getting ready for mounting on my Ramshackle vehicles.

After sticking pairs of old Ork bolt guns and Squat plastic heavy bolters and the like together I have been mounting them on small washers.  The washers give the impression of a small turret or other piece of fitting that is used to attach weapons to vehicles and it helps the weapons to look a bit less like an afterthought.

These washers then correspond to magnets that Ive mounted in various locations on the vehicles that I am prepping.

I havent painted any of the elements up yet but functionally it is looking promising.  The weapons will never look as good as they would if they were properly mounted on each vehicle but it is a versatile approach, allowing me to attach everything from a searchlight through rocket launchers through wrecking ball type daft stuff.

I am pleased so far.  Some photos when I take it to the next stage.

Hi gang, I've been hospitalised with my son aged three, since last tuesday. He's had a very agressive and rare infection and is fighting to get rid of it. Today is my first day out...

Yup, you never now what life's got in store. I hope to be back some time soon.

Love the terrain. If someone else hasn't said it yet, its a great technique for a modern day slum!

I love the contrast of the teal/green and purple, but the yellow of the bird really makes the mini pop. :-* Is this a Ramshackle mini? I think I have a need/want for him. ::)
