Can you tell me where you source your cork bark please?
Well actually, I picked up this lot when I went to the Algarve on holiday earlier this year - it's where they grow and harvest the stuff. Forests of it, everywhere. I don't think tourists are supposed to help themselves, even where it grows freely by the side of the road. But I found a fallen tree a viewpoint up in the mountains, and liberated a rather large section of the bark as a souvenir

Compared to certain model railway brands where you get one mingy piece of cork bark in a nice little pack for several quid, it's an absolute bargain.
Unless you're going to Portugal that is...
