Have no idea how the Capt'n plans to do this but I'd say that probably anybody with a 5 and 1 record or better after Round 6 is fair game.

One thing for sure... there will be some great match ups leading to the final.   ;D

Well gents the dies is cast
I'm off to the UK tomorrow so have submitted entries 6,7,8 & 9 as I wont get another chance :'(
Its been a bit of a frenzy as all are new though a few figures of one entry have been shown as a WIP on another forum so will not count as a new team

I'm also bringing some figures over for the WD3 forum Imaginations game, 2 of my entries will double up for that so I've managed to get through another 2 units of about 30 figs each as well as 9 LPL rounds. I am knackered and the garden's a mess o_o lol

I've had a great time though

Gents, I hope you'll come and say hello at Salute.
We'll be gathering to put faces to names, by Jimbibbly's Oshiro Model Terrain stand at around 1330.
 :)

I`ll try to remember to be there.

Otherwise, if you see someone with a TSA shirt labelled `Twin linked Aldades` (really, don`t ask) and the necessary amount of scifi patches on it, that`d be me.

No idea on the weather, otherwise I`d be easily identifiable in my 3/4ths pants and huge USS Enterprise tattoo on my leg  lol lol lol

Just wanted to say that as a newbie voyeur to LPL5, having followed a link for Matakishi’s Tea House after the competition had started, how hugely impressed I am with all the entries and how much enjoyment I get from following the competition.

Some really classy painting, good web-chat, friendly competition and (even though I major in 15mm) loads of ideas for my figure painting.  I would have joined LPL5 if permitted by the rules and am already planning what I would enter should LPL6 ever be run.

Thanks for the ride and well done to all those doing the heavy lifting in organising LPL5 - you are doing a great job!

Glad you are enjoying it.  :) A lot of fun but also a bit of a chore  for all competitors.

Thanks Paddy  :)

-----------------------------

Please note, since I'll be at Salute all day this coming Saturday, round 6 matches are unlikely to be uploaded until later on Sunday.

Mind you, as things stand (Thursday lunchtime here in the UK), I only have a handful of replacement teams in...  ::)

Come on you LAFers! Get on top of it!! Only four more rounds to go after this one... The end is in sight... ;)  :D

Phew.... it's been a struggle this week but Round 6 is now in.  Huzzah!

Round 7 is undercoated ready for painting to start on Monday evening.

Rounds 8, 9 and 10 are still being assembled/converted.

PS:  This week I've also painted my entry for the Hasslefree (Forum of Doom) comp at Salute.  o_o

 o_o o_o

I am certainly on the week to week crunch...I keep thinking that I might get a few days ahead...but no such luck...there is always something that sucks up my painting time...you know...work...eating...sick kids...stuff like that!

I hope to have round 6 in before midnight on Friday this time!  (dare to dream....)

Cheers,

Blue

I know what you mean.  I started off three weeks ahead in painting thanks to some well timed vacation watching plumbers work on the house.  Down to 1 week head thanks to family, work and my really novice photography skills.  Getting better with the camera through practice though. :)

Week 6 is in. Need to get back to painting 8.
Painted:  2025:539; 2024: 410; 2023: 37; 2022: 56
