Round 6 in, and an hour earlier than last time. Unfortunately I am out of town for five days for Easter holiday... its really going to mess up my already tight painting schedule :(

Mine just in.  This is the first round that I stopped caring towards the end and didn't put much effort into the photos.  I'm glad to hear that others aren't turning in their best work either!  (Not glad from a competition standpoint since I'm not worried about scoring, but rather that it isn't just me who hit a painting wall this week.)

I'm excited about next week's entries, so here's hoping I'll catch my painting second wind!

Alright...I'm in too...the bases were a little hurried this week...but they're done.

Can't wait for Sunday!

Cheers,

Photo sent, finished painting yesterday at about 23:00. Helping a friend move this morning, so getting this done was quite tight. Now to relax 8)

Looking forward to seeing everyones entry tomorrow. Good luck, guys!

Real world finally caught up with me, and the paint schedule (i use the term very loosely)!

Re-running teams for at least the next 2 rounds have to see for round 8, but that is also looking shakey. :(

But at least I have managed to secure a new job, so redundancy is off the cards for a bit!  :)

Good luck all, this comp has been a comparative sea of calm and tranquility for me for the past few weeks, and I am loving every moment of it.

That's a relief! ;) I am of course just kidding but you are obviously a man to look out for. I hope you get some time to get a new entry in for the remaining rounds. Your stuff is great.

Heh heh, thank you sir. I should to be able to get a new entry in each round. So far I've not started more than a week prior on any entry, but I'll need to start rounds 9 and 10 really soon and work on them along with 7 and 8.

LPL has been great on so many levels... it gave me a reason to paint figures I'd had laying around for years, its exposed me to miniatures I never knew existed, allowed me to interact with a really friendly gaming community, and most importantly it has shed light on how much personal time I don't have :)

I think the new job definitely trumps getting new teams in. Congrats.

Captain, in your case, what does your wife dislike the most...you competing in the LPL or organize this whole circus!?

I can see you breaking the news to her:
"Hon, you know that Painters' League-thing...I'm not competing this year!"

...few seconds of silence...

"I'm hosting it, and this year there are 72 contestants, isn't that great!"
 ;D lol
