The minis I had planned for round 8 has still yet to arrive so I'm frantically trying to finish a substitute team. Seems like I'll have to go large this time around...

I'll start the search for some older pics to use in the comming rounds, don't want people to grow tired of my mummies  ;)

Didn't I tell you boys to ask your moms to help if you are doing dangerous things like opening a pot of paint?!  ;)

Seriously, sorry to hear you dropping out. To a rapid recovery, my lad.

Two years in a row now due to medical issues matey, I`d say you either start early next season, or put the sports thing (pfah, healthy my **s) on a 10 week hiatus  lol

You KNOW I`m gonna nag you about it tonight right?

@Hammers
Thanks man. I'll think twice about saying "do it yourself" to the wife now  lol

@Tomsche
Yeah, but last year it wasn't me who was a wreck  ;)
Only tonight? I'll be hearing this for a year I'm sure of it .... especially when Sven tells you how it happened  :D

Ouch! Sorry to hear that Andy! Thumb breaking (or any finger breaking) is rarely good for painting.  ;)

Oh... and now you've got to tell us how! :D

Round 8 in.
Spend a couple of days doing more round 10 stuff then a mad rush to do round 9, which I haven't even decided what to do yet.
The end is in sight.

Which will be ... what, another 5 minutes?  lol

@Martin
I can't do that! My carefully built up streetrep here in the tough streets of my hood (read small agricultural village) needs upholding  :D
Let's just say I'm getting older and sports isn't always healthy, atleast the sports I (try to) do ... ;D

Sorry to hear about your thumb Andy, hope it heals soon! I haven't painted anything yet (except my 'start of the LPL buffer' which is running dry) but I have no activities planned for tonight so I may still paint something fresh and photograph it.

Just had a bit of an accident with the Army Painter anti-gloss varnish spray. It looks like my guy has been out snow!  >:(

What to do, what to do...

Try applying a layer of gloss varnish, then matt varnish again. I had the same problem with some of my "Disciples of the Red Redemption" from Round 6 and the gloss varnish removed 99% of the snow effect.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll give it a go. I just need to get some regular paint on varnish first.

Hopefully I'll be able to hide it using water just for the photo.  :)
