New modern ruleset incoming!
« on: August 12, 2011, 03:07:22 PM »
In early September, a new modern wargame ruleset will be released by a new company. The players will take control of a helicopter strike group supported by planes, drones and AA artillery. The game itself will be very much objective based, with a random scenario generator included in the basic rules. Other features are:
- highly stressed fog of war,
- alternate activation,
- extreme tactical flexibility,
- a long unit list with combat doctrines regulating the choice of units (instead of fixed 'army lists').

Recommended scales will be 2mm/6mm, with one model/infantry base representing one vehicle/squad.

AFAIK the book will be available in printed form only, but some additional stuff should be published on the developers website for free.

And here it is: Hind Commander, the game of modern helicopter warfare!

Apart from the book, there also four Battle sets, each containing enough miniatures to create a halved strike group (the minimal format of the gamesize of your force), two Support packs (with planes and artillery) and two Terrain sets. The miniatures are 3mm, made by Polish Oddział Ósmy.
