Ditto all of the above...my brushes are worn to a nubbin...to say nothing of my wife's patience!  One more week may do us both in... o_o.  But thanks to some crappy weather in the NE US were forced out of the field for a couple of days this week so I was able to spend more time painting than I had feared....we'll see if that holds for round 10.

Cheers!

No new round 9 from me as have been laid up in hospital with a virus.  I hope to be up to it to have a new entry for round 10 though it'll likely be 'more of the same' rather than something that maximises round bonus points.

Drat. My plan for 10 weeks of War of the Roses has failed.   :-[

Not quite sure how but I have done 9 for 9 this year, and 10 is on the table, it is bit ambitious though!

Has been a great season, and everyone has painted their socks off. I have spent most of my time in the bottom 5 of the leaderboard though I can't be too sad about that as the quality has been amazing this year.

Good luck everyone and see you on the other side!

Now back to round 10...  :)
Saving the last bullet... just in case.

See my wonderful BLOG of stuff!

You did pretty well Steve, at rocket-fuelling your WOTR army build via the LPL. Very bad luck to catch a virus just when you did  :(
I've enjoyed watching your progress with them though  :)

There will be no new entry from me this week. I was too caught up in the Lowlands Painting Competition I simply forgot about it completely until I was sitting in the train on my way to Amsterdam this morning. A bit silly but of course entirely my own fault 8)

God! This is getting tough, Finished Round 9 Friday night, but my ancient computer is on it's last legs took many attempts to upload and send in entry. As a result of which tomorrow I have to go buy new computer, can't rsk computer not working next Friday, especially as I have been so ambitious, fortunately it is scallable so can cut down on items to paint.
So far I have painted three figures and a small boat.
Still to do.
14 figures (but can cut down to 11)
A large boat (last thing to do, but looks great so determined to get it done
and finally a 2 x 2 scenic seascape and coastline base board.
I have been of today but had to prepare food dinner party tonight, will hopefully get a couple of hours in later tonight. I am also off all day Monday and Friday with a couple of free evenings so will be painting and modelling solidly for all my freetime next week.

I have to say that my hat is off to all of you entrants who have made the time to take part in the LPL.

Maybe - maybe - next year I will feel like I can really devote my time to a ten week competition. I would love to see what kind of response my stuff gets here.

Naturally, I could just upload pictures to the boards anyway and get feedback that way, but I think the LPL is a really honestly critical competition. The anonymous nature of the voting and the multiple rounds of work really go to show who has 'got it', if you get my meaning. Winning the LPL, or even placing highly in it, is a real mark of distinction, I think in the miniatures painting world.

Best of luck to all, and I look forward to seeing the final ( :'() round's entries.

And I thought I was being ambitious!

Done my first 5 and my one scenery piece (although I did start that 5 years ago)
But i only have 5 more models to paint and a massive shark!

Hope you get it done, with a build up like this it sounds like it will be awesome!
