Awesome, I've contracted a rather bad case of wryneck! =( Can't paint and if it doesn't go away today or tomorrow I can forget about finishing even one team for round 10. I'm 100% certain there won't be a second team for round 10. Bummer, huh?

I have my two teams done, one of 8 and one of 10.-they just need some grass on their bases.  and I started the large model, made good progress too actually, should take just one day to finish it all ... didn't know if I'd make it but it came together pretty fast at the end

I'm suffering as well... I have a massive head cold and I think an ear infection...sigh.

I'm miserable..,

Not good motivation for painting!

Just about done! Not to theme, but what the hell! It is what I'm painting now, and kills the mountain a little more!
Anyone tired of the damn gladiators yet? ;)

I am REALLY happy that I sent in all my entries loooooooooooooong ago while still in round 4 or so. Up until now I might have lost my hope for ever achieving anything, what with all these fantastic entries!
If I still had to paint, while seeing all this? nope ...  :'(

Now I can enjoy ... better savor! the pix in this LPL6!

And I really really love this "foundry-style"-painting seen in here in (to me also advanced) perfection! Lots of inspiration (for later LPLs)!

Can't talk.....

... must ... paint  o_o

Sorry to hear all the ills and woes besetting fellow competitors - hope things take a turn for the better for you all - looking forward to all the amazing entries for the Grand Finale!

Pretty much on course myself - finished one team, got two bits of scenery to do tonight, one more mini to complete t'other team.

Mind you the trouble and strife is trying to take my Saturday morning away from me to socialise with...  people, would you believe it   ::)

I got my ship finished  :D
I even took some time to make a terrain board, - pretty hopeful it will work, but I won't know until tomorrow when I try to do the photos with the aid of daylight.

Good Luck with the final push everyone!

I'm throwing in the towel on any grandiose ideas I had... If I get five new, on theme, figures done I'll be happy at this point... My cold has worsened and all I want to
Do is sleep...and possibly take a drill to my forehead to relieve the pressure there in... Sigh.

It is very disappointing to have everything fall apart for the last round...I was so close...:(

Good luck to everyone else... Its sure to be an awesome show on Sunday!

Cheers

Greetings

I don't think I will be able to turn in the "magnificent" ;) entry I planned. I had that really great idea for the last shot.

Guess what ?
I did not make a brushstroke since last Friday. Every time I prepared my place, took the minis, the colors .. something else happened. Our living room is in chaos state as we get a new Living room/TV cabinet combo. The carpenter was ready to start when the electrician called and had to postpone. Then the other had to postpone. Last news is they will now start next Monday.
I have boxes all around, my drawing/work room is a mess because it is in use as a storage place until work is finished. (Which should be Monday Evening or Tuesday midday).

Today I'll still try to finish the models started. But I don't see a way to make a whole second team. My monster is primed. Not sure if I get to finish that one as well. And to top it, I have a lot of different colorpots but Murphy wanted to laugh a bit. My main color is empty, a second pot has dried. And my reserve (I'm SURE I have one of those)... I don't have a clue where it is hiding.

Ah well. On a total account bad planning on our side it seems.

Ran out of paint ...  :o  Got to wait until Saturday morning to get more, then finish off the ship  :-[ .  Managed to get the rigging almost complete (took 2 days to tie all the knots).  All the minis are done though  ;)
